I want _____ back.

What is in your blank? “I want my health back”. “I want my life ten years ago back.” “I want the person you were back.”

Life does not stop. Life cannot be turned back. We would love to turn back time.

One thing that stood out to me in the new Mary Poppins Returns movie: time is what it is and life is what it is, and there is no where to go but up. Everyone asked Mary Poppins to do the impossible, turn back time; if she always seems to do the impossible with imagination, surely she can turn back time. What occurred was not magic; what occurred was creative thinking and a forward, upward thinking mindset. She moved the hands of the clock back at just the right moment, and gave needed time to those who were racing to beat it. Time did not change. Life was moving forward and fast. Many helping hands, unseen by the ones needing more time, stepped in to save their friends in need. It was all a matter of perseverance and forward focus. It was all a matter of setting the mind to utilize instead of wallow.

I want the world I had 2 years ago when I could eat anything I wanted any time. I cannot have that back, and maybe I do not want that after-all. Maybe there are things unseen, people or energies behind the scenes, that I needed to come in contact with. Maybe this is just how it was suppose to be for reasons I may not ever know.

Registration

Caregiver-Baby Massage Courses

  • Option ONE:  Thursdays, August 2, 9, 16, 10:30-noon, 3 sessions, once a week
  • Option TWO:  Thursdays, August 2, 9, 16, 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m., 3 sessions, once a week. Great time for the fathers!
  • The class includes book, handouts, folder, oil, and lots of SUPPORT.

Food Allergies and Sensitivities – Making Sense of the Struggle – Holistic Options

Food allergies rock your world! They rocked mine. In this class I will help you take an active and empowering role in your daily struggle with this “sensitive” topic (pun intended).  In the class you will:

  • Learn about the ingredients in the foods you eat.
    • I will share with you lists of things to watch for, especially common things that can fall under a different name.  Manufacturers can change ingredients in their products without notice. If you have to be mammal free like me, there are many things to look for that you would not generally think of. I learned much of this by experience and can help you avoid some of the hardships.
  • Learn the importance of telling anyone preparing your meals about your food sensitivities, depending on the severity of your symptoms.
    • That includes family, friends, and waiters. At restaurants, it’s always smart to speak up about your sensitivities since many times unsafe ingredients can pop up on your plate without your knowledge and navigating the menu can be confusing.  I will help you make this easier.
  • Learn how to stock your pantry with safe foods and appropriate substitutes to keep you on track and to reduce cravings.
    • This is a fun topic.  There are so many options out there now that were not available just 10 years ago.
  • Learn some holistic options for reactions when they are not anaphylactic.
  • Learn a simple way to keep a health journal.

Bring your questions. I will have plenty of resources if it cannot be answered in class.

FAITHFUL AND FIT PROGRAM

I want to begin working out with groups of people with the same goals as me: To stay fit and healthy, both spiritually and physically.  I have been a part of the Faithful Workouts program for a couple years, and I have gone through the leader program.  I will use this program for the workouts I lead.  Below is what Faithful Workouts is all about:

Healing yourself and those around you part 1

FOOD IS BEING THROWN AWAY more than ever. We CAN, when people know what they are doing, plant and raise real food and keep the soil healthy! Even the organic stuff is being affected, but that can change.  We have guts that do not absorb well from the compromised, poor food we have been inflicted with. WE WANT TO BE ALIVE BUT WE EAT DEAD, TOXIC FOOD!

FIGHT TO KNOW!

I have lived a life of know only natural health and healing with food and with other modes of holistic healing and wellness.

I would like to encourage you to keep up with my web page here, my blogs, my Facebook page blogs, and also utilize other web pages and information such as listed below.  I have a lifetime of research I plan to put onto my web page, use in my live classes, and use in my daily client coaching and massage.  I would like you to encourage the youth to come into this world and learn all they can while they are young to avoid and prevent the things that can come up in later years.  I am an advocate for the youth being taught as I was and grow up with an approach to living that most have forgotten or know little about in this country of ours.
