lessons from the “fog”

Fog, thick, all around me. But wait! What is that with the fog? It is inviting me in. Listen, feel, see, taste, smell. There are sounds of creation, the air is crisp, the smell is clean and fresh, the taste is sweet. There is a sweet aroma and a peaceful quiet. The quiet can awaken your spirit, and clear your thinking. That made me smile and laugh, because I am in a fog and I feel like everything is clear. Think on this. Yahweh, our Father/Creator, and the living Messiah Jesus Yeshuah, is inviting us into his throne room. We can come in anytime without hesitation! Why do we hesitate? He is there when we think cannot see him, feel him, hear him, taste him, smell him. When the water is still, it just looks still, there is always a moving stream deep under the still. Come into it. It is amazing in here, wrapped in the blanket of His voice, His touch, His way of looking at things, His sweet aroma, His flavors! And when we wait and be still long enough, light shines through the fog, and He lifts it, and allows us to feel, taste, see, hear, and smell HIS strength within ourselves that was created in us from the beginning. IT IS ALWAYS THERE! Even in the fog. 🙂

WINTER–what the reason for this season really is

The winter solstice time is no longer celebrated as it once was, with the understanding that this is a period of descent and rest, of going within our homes, within ourselves and taking in all that we have been through, all that has passed in this full year which is coming to a close… like nature and the animal kingdom around us, this time of hibernation is so necessary for our tired limbs, our burdened minds.

Our modern culture teaches avoidance at a max at this time; alcohol, lights, shopping, overworking, over spending, comfort food and consumerism.

And yet the natural tug to go inwards as nearly all creatures are doing is strong and the weather so bitter that people are left feeling that winter is hard, because for those of us without burning fires and big festive families, it can be lonely and isolating. Whereas in actual fact winter is kind, she points us in her quiet soft way towards our inner self, towards this annual time of peace and reflection, not afraid of the darkness (wrapped in the veil with Messiah Yeshuah) and forgiving (lifting the veil—shining), accepting and loving embracing goodbye to the past year (go unto the Father—into his presence and Glory who will forgive and forget—release your Faith and receive the forgiveness and believe it).

“Winter takes away the distractions, the buzz, and presents us with the perfect time to rest and withdraw into a womb like love, bringing fire & light to our hearth” (Renew your mind to the Word—what The Father wants you to do—run to His arms of Mercy—Boldly to His Throne where the Intercessor is for us——we are already welcome there).

.. and then, just around the corner the new year will begin again, and like a seed planted deep in the earth, we will all rise with renewed energy once again to dance in the sunlight (Messiah—Passover—spring cleaning).

Life is a gift J

Happy winter to you all.

Workout with purpose and friends

THIS was a great stretch. Good way to end or begin a workout. The message is very encouraging. My take: concentration on breathing starts the day well, fills the brain with energy (better than caffeine), and YOU will never know who you are until you know Him (Messiah/Elohim) first; seek HIM FIRST, find yourself.

CLASSES: I would love to begin this in our area. I am posting some class registrations for morning workouts with Faithful workouts. These workouts will have many levels to follow, and many options from chair (sitting) to challenging, all in the same workout session. To exercise together brings accountability and support. I will have classes in Russellville to begin, but will also have them in Perryville at a later date. www.naturalhelpinghands.com https://www.naturalhelp.net/services/ for info on the upcoming classes.#naturalhelpinghands #exercise

Use That Fruit!

When someone sends you lemons, digest them, eliminate the waste, and utilize the lemon for all its cleansing ability and nutrients.

health benefits of lemons

The health benefits of lemon (this post contains excerpts; see article in link for more info) include treatment of throat infections, indigestion, constipation, dental problems, fever, internal bleeding, rheumatism, burns, obesity, respiratory disorders, cholera, and high blood pressure, while it also benefits your hair and skin. Known for their therapeutic properties for many generations, lemons help to strengthen your immune system, cleanse your stomach, and they are also considered a blood purifier. It is well known for its medicinal power and is used in many different ways.

Lemon juice, especially, has several health benefits associated with it. It is well known as a useful treatment for kidney stones, reducing strokes and lowering body temperature. A refreshing drink made by mixing lemon juice and water, lemonade helps you to stay calm and cool.

Many people also use it as a washing agent, because of its ability to remove stains. The scent of lemons can repel mosquitoes, while drinking lemon juice with olive oil helps to get rid of gall stones.  As per the results reported in a study by the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, lemon provides protection against inflammatory polyarthritis and arthritis.

Worth Repeating: When someone sends you lemons, digest them, eliminate the waste, and utilize the lemon for all its cleansing ability and nutrients.

Let’s think contrary to what seems common: instead of putting focus on the lemons, relationships, work, school, etc., put the focus on the Father of all, and He will put the focus on those relationships. John 15 – we are to remain in Him, stay connected with Him. Only when we stay connected with the Creator can we bear fruit.  He prunes us to make us strong. When life gets challenging, we are being pruned and weeded, so that we can bear more fruit. Apart from Him we can do nothing. How are you abiding in the Father? Are you making time to connect with Him? We find time for the things that we value. Make time with the Almighty your #1 thing.

The fear of light is what really sets us back, not failure.

Fail forward.
